About Professional Lawn Care

Professional Lawn Care has served Waterloo, Cedar Falls, and the Cedar Valley since 1971. Founded by Dennis Lickteig as a small lawn mowing and garden tilling business, the company grew into a full-service outdoor property maintenance company serving residential, commercial, and industrial properties throughout the area.

As customer needs expanded, so did our services. Professional Lawn Care added snow removal, landscaping, retaining walls, patios, irrigation, lawn treatments, sod installation, tree and shrub services, and commercial snow management.

Andrew Lickteig joined the company full-time in 2006 after helping in the business for many years. In 2020, the company built its nearly 5-acre headquarters on the north side of Waterloo to support continued growth and operations. On January 1, 2023, Andrew Lickteig became sole owner of Professional Lawn Care, continuing the family business into the next generation.

Today, Professional Lawn Care remains focused on quality workmanship, dependable service, and long-term customer relationships. As a locally owned family business, we take pride in serving the Cedar Valley and standing behind the work we do.
